The Curious Shopper is all about retail. What makes some stores addictive and others a nightmare. Why some items are irresistible and others just get ignored. What bar-raising retail experiences are out there, and what just has got to be stopped.

I will try to illustrate my observations with photos. This means I will most likely be kicked out of every store in Chicago at some point. But I'm okay with that. It's all for the sake of research...
